Not sure why you are having this problem. Attached is a link where there was some discussion about getting mp3s to work with itunes. There are some ideas which might me worth trying:-

Also, you might want to try importing them into windows media player or some other player just to check the files are okay. Sure they will be, I have downloaded loads of stuff from mp3fiesta & never had any problem??
