excellent tools for yr mp3 collection, doing this and much more, and are all free:
- MP3VAL - checking for broken and incorrect compression, missing headers,
incorrect lenght, can also fix many things
- EncSpot - checks for bit rates, gives graphic display, also checks for broken
files (see if you can find the also-free PRO version)
- MP3tag - the ultimative! hard to explain what it does NOT do!
anybody interested, try these out and let us know what you think.
