Why buy a cd player anyway unless it's something like the 301 carausel?
A dvd player works fine as well, and does more than just play a cd.

I have a cd player in my car also.
I am seriously thinking about going with a .mp3 player though.
There are cd's floating about all over the place.
What a mess!

1. Install Slysoft CloneCD on your laptop

2. Create image files of all your CD's

3. Put these image files onto X numbers of 1TB external hard drives

4. Install Virtual Clone Drive (or similar (for instance Alcohol 120% or DAEMON Tools))

5. Mount images from there (Alcohol 120% can mount 30 or so at a time)

6. Use your default media player to play your music in random (or preferred) order
