I was getting pissed at some of the mixed bitrate stuff i've collected over the years and one day almost fell into the principle category but after messing around with some of my files, 192k & 320k sounded the same to me so I opted for the 192K and just keep an image of the disc handy.

While having the disc image is not very storage efficient, it makes restoration a snap! If I have a drive failure that wipes a chunk of my music, I can quickly recover it without having to drag all my CD's back out and add a few more scratches on accident
