At least for me, its the flexibility in formats. I am very picky when it comes to sound quality and mp3s just don't cut it for me anymore. I can get higher quality with the same or lower bitrate with a different format. Sparks lets me choose exactly the format and quality I want. The alltunes downloader is also a big plus as it makes finding and downloading songs very easy (much better than the sparks site or even iTunes). There is only the occasional song that I can't find on there, but usually I won't be able to find it anywhere else either.
