Well Roberta Gambarini has a beautiful voice and she has a
tone and texture similar to Ella's and as a bonus to me, she's
accompanied on piano by the the great Hank Jones, brother
to the great drummer Elvin Jones..Hank played with Charlie Parker,
Lester Young and actually was Ella's accompanist on record and the road.
So this is a really well put together project..with great jazz standard selections
That feature Roberta's exquisite voice..and though this is secondary, by her
album covers she is a incredibly beautiful women who's voice match's her
beauty...and ipodfan if you did not recommend this CD it would just be
another CD lost to everyone..and this is what this site is all about..
sharing new ideas in music...
