and I love Simon..because someone has to tell these terrible singers the truth.
Simon and Randy are the only ones that matter. Paula's opinion does not matter as she is usually drugged or drunk

I do admit I get caught up with it ,but I cringe quite a bit as well,
at the contrived group songs...But I really enjoyed the show tonight
and they even had ZZ Top for ol' Nightfly.

and perfection is something I would never come close to or ever want to...

"Imagination" and "Some People" were two of his biggest hits ('85-'86)

Some great choices there!

Talk Talk, Big Country, Tears For Fears and a-ha are all superb.
And Alphaville`s "Big In Japan" and "Forever Young" are two of my favourite songs.
There just don`t seem to be the amount of quality bands around now that there were back then.
Every band then had their own distinctive sound. You could hear a song on the radio and you knew who it was because it had a certain style to it.
A lot of the current bands sound very similar to each other, it`s hard to tell their sounds apart from one another.

Great to see you are into many types of music, mehrens2112
There`s so much great different types of music out there to be discovered and enjoyed, old and new
