American Idol - Winner

Finally someone with great talent actually won American Idol. Congrats to David Cook who will have an awesome career and hopefully his first album will ROCK!!!

Before I get hung, yes I like Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson too, they had tons of talent. But in past seasons, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Daughtry were clearly the most talented of their seasons, and got knocked off early. Hats off to the American public finally getting it right (even though I think the show is completely rigged)

But I am thrilled that it was David Cook who won. Great season.

The other David (Archuleta), is a puppet that needs to get out of daddy's control and maybe just maybe he will have a career. But if dad continues to be a psychotic idiot, then David A will fade away. Oh, and he needs to come out of the closet like Clay Aiken does

I totally agree with Micheal Johns..the best singer there hands down...I stopped watching after they voted him off...(that and I can't stand the songs they make them sing...yechh)...

But Cook was a good choice,from what was left.

off this season, Johns and David Cook will have great careers. Syesia (can't spell her name) will have a decent Broadway career. Brooke White will surprise everyone and have a career in adult contemp. Kelly Leigh Cook will also have a career in country. Beyond that, no one else will. I know alot of people liked the Irish girl, but she was overrated.

He is cute to 12 year old girls, but remember in the 80's (if you are old enough) that all the girls LOVED George Michael and he's gay. Of course I had no idea what gay was back then. Also waiting for that kid from High School Musical, Zak Efron to come out as well. I'd bet a TON of money he is.

George Michael sounded phenomenal tonight. Have you heard him????????????????? I think he's great. Never would come anywhere near High School Musical. Don't know who you are talking about, and I think it's their own business anyway.

Yes after you made me listen to "Listen Without Prejudice" I had a
new found fondness for him as a singer...He sang a very nice song..
I love his duet with Aretha "I knew You Were Waiting" you have to be good to hold up to her.

Have friends that have teenagers and a teenage brother so I get to know all the cool Disney stuff. Some of it makes me want to BARF!!

George sounded killer tonight despite his cold. My wife and I might attend his concert this summer. One of the great voices of the last 25-30 years.
