G'day to the Allofmp3 community. I know I'm responding to a generic email but I'm not ignoring you guys. The situation is that I'm a business teacher and consultant and I'm always busy.

However the main reason for my absence is that during August (which in Australia is the pits of winter) I contracted a super cold which is ten times worse than a heavy cold. In a nutshell I haven't been able to shift the effects of the virus and I then developed bronchitis. Last week this in turn morphed into pneumonia. %#$K!

Whilst I want to participate in discussions I'm just too bloody sick and there's no teacher who can teach in my area, so I have to keep working. And too make matters worse I've just moved house.

To end this depressing note I'm not writing this for sympathy just as an explanation as to why I've disappeared for a while. Having said all this I'm taking so many antibiotics I rattle a bit when I walk. But I do think they're working, and on top of this I'm a bit of a fitness freak so I am on the mend.

Best wishes to all and I hope to return to the boards in the next month or two, maybe sooner it all depend how things go.

Thanks Solaris and Nightfly for your kind words. The pneumonia has cleared up and I just have to get more of my voice back. I'm still pretty congested so I can't really talk louder than a croak but I'm getting there. This is really hampering my teaching but my students are really helping as much as they can (by being quiet so I don't have to shout over them). Also, summer's on the way in the southern hemisphere so that will help as well.

Anyway, it's time to go for a walk so I'd better stop writing. I hope to be posting in a couple of weeks but everything is two steps forward and one step back. I guess I need to take more steps…but I've got to be patient and not rush things, as I've done in the past.
