I used to hate my name when I was younger but have come to really appreciate it as I've gotten older. Oddly enough the gaelic is comes from is definitely male so it's a bit strange it's become a common female name.

I too hated my name when I was young but I would not change it now - even if I could be taken for being female

Admittedly I can not think of many famous men with the first name Ashley

Ashley Wilkes - from Gone With The Wind
Ashley Cole - football player
Ashley Mote - SE England Independent MEP

Still it's better to be unique rather than one of the flock

This whole gender conversation reminds me of a certain conversation that we had last year in the Memphis Members Invite Thread a year ago. At that time Solaris has, true to form, decided to place doubt in the mind of others with respect to his own gender, but was almost instantly exposed

Those were particular exciting couple of days as withing them I became a Memphis Member (well, it seemed great at the time

), was able to fund my MM account via credit card, added a new word to the English dictionary (i.e. dreamy), discovered that Bar.... sorry... Dave has a kinky side, and changed Memphis Members Invite thread into a Thread of Love

I can't play the electric guitar but I do enjoy listening to one being played well

As for the stockings you are a man after my own heart - there is something really sexy about a woman in stockings

All I have now are memories
