Ashley's gender? - 07-30-2008, 07:03 AM

Based on my name there seems to be some confusion as to my gender.
Now I know that the regulars here know me but it seems that some that don't think I am female.

Without thinking too hard about this, on first impressions does the name Ashley seem to you to be:

a) Female
b) Male

Just a bit of fun

Ashley
If you have one watch you know what the time is. But if you have two you don't know which one is right.

The more advice you get the more confusing it becomes.

Female, definitely

Ashley Judd, Ashley Olsen and Ashley Tisdale immediately pop up in my mind, whenever I see or hear the name Ashley

I read the name and thought, who knows, could me a guy - after all Ashley from Gone with the Wind was one. Surprisingly, that was in fact the explanation of your name. lol.

well, after my comment about you in the old age/hearing thread....
and then the princess chimes in as well....

if you are male, i'm feeling like John Candy and Steve Martin in Planes, Trains and Automobiles....
so, how 'bout those Bears?

Ashley, I can tell from all your prior postings that YOU are definitely male - but that wasn't your question. Your question was this:

And just like solaris, the first persons that enter my mind, when I hear the name Ashley, are several actresses

Sorry

My first name is Kelly so I won't even hazard a guess on Ashley (or Terry, Lindsay, Erin, Laurie, etc.)
