Question Best female voice (pop, rock, r&b) - 11-02-2007, 11:22 PM

This was bound to happen... And there are so many

Amy Grant
Annie Lennox
Alison Moyet
Anita Baker
Oleta Adams
Randy Crawford
Joanne Catherall and Susan Ann Sulley (from The Human League)
Toni Braxton
Vanessa Williams
Imogen Heap (from Frou Frou)
JoJo
Martine McCutcheon
Mary Davis (From The S.O.S. Band)
Sophie Ellis Bextor
Tyka Nelson (Prince's sister)
Whitney Houston
Aretha Franklin
Bette Midler
Kirsty MacColl
Mica Paris
Natalie Cole

And this is the only plus 10 albums artist, where I have everything he/she has ever released (officially): Madonna - yeah, I know - takes me right to the banning thread

Solaris, you've just redeemed yourself from the banning thread by putting Mica Paris there. She's at the top of my list.

Edit:Solaris you have many fine singers on this list.
I will even go with Madonna ....loved "Ray of Light" and the guitar/producer of the album

James Blunt doesn't belong on either my male or female voice list. My love for James Blunt and Katie Price were almost equally fake (just to provoke you guys )

I really do like Phil Collins though (even if he's not amongst my favourite male voices)
