Wow! A multi-tasking crocodile that must be a first

Ashley
If you have one watch you know what the time is. But if you have two you don't know which one is right.

The more advice you get the more confusing it becomes.

I am sure Wally also didn't substitute at the last minute in the role of Little Red Riding Hood in a play. From what I remember, children were in for quite a treat when he forgot the plot and lyrics and gave the wolf quite a scare

The might do - but I heard some true attrocities on the subject of the translation :-

Sovok of the Week Cheburashka and Crocodile Gena Reinterpreted

So, it's best you take it from me that it's cute and one of the most beloved russian children's books as well as cartoons and leave it at that

P.S. Before you asked me what a "Sovok" is - it is a fairly common derogatory self-deprecating nickname for Soviet Union or a citizen thereof The actual word means dustpan

I will look for the books...

My wife and I still keep up with children's books,
one of our friends Judith Casely is a writer and illustrator and my friend
Linda does beautiful illustrations and is looking for a partner now.
My daughter and I are thanked in a few of their books.
My daughter was a character and I supplied ideas and inspiration...

We talk a great deal about Crocs and Alligators on this site...
Maybe they should be the site mascot..

He did spark quite a lot of discussion, did he not?

- Solaris was driven to teach a lesson on differences between alligators and crocodiles

- I was amuzed by the Japanese translation thereof on YouTube

- Frunze was inspired to talk about shoes

- Henry was prompted to complain

Just a regular day in the life of aom3.org!!!
