I don't know what all of the slagging off of crocs is about. My kids live in their crocs and if I need to take the washing up the garden, I'll stick my wife's hugh pink pair on very comfortable. Also, when you are potty training your kids and they poo all over them; just stick them under the tap for 10 seconds and then back on God bless George B. Boedecker., Jr

I bought a pair of Croc knock-offs at REI, I think for $15. I use them for mowing the lawn, if I get any debris on them I can just wash them off. They are good mowing footwear.

I heard of kid's wearing them and they got ate up by an escalator , so that is a bit scary. The stock on them is down quite a bit, after being very hot a few years back.

One could only nurture a small hope that the nationwide insanity that is crocs is subsiding. Meanwhile, thinking about this actually inspired me to buy a pair of Louboutins and a pair of Manolos to boot (no pun intended here).

Ну, погоди!, (Just you wait!) is great to. My 16 month old son loves this one.

Would the foot massage still be offered if I pointed out that theGREAT cartoon of which you speak is actually calle (translated) "Hedgehog in the Fog" (not forrest). And yes, it absolutely is truly great.

P.S. Your son has a great taste in cartoons. We we all raised on "Nu Pogodi!" (Just you wait.. as your translate it ) and still happy to watch them any time. The cartoons were made in the 70s. I read an article some time a few years back with the director's son, who said that his father had not heard of "Tom and Jerry" till 1995 or something like that. I guess one can draw the obvious parallels, but it's not like the concept of a chase (in the russian cartoon, it's wolf and rabbit) is nothing novel. While Tom&Jerry leaves me oddly unaffected, I have every episode of Nu Pogodi! (there were no more than 15-20) happily committed to memory

So, the reason for this cryptic message, and a sudden irrational craving for Crocs (safely avoided ) was that last night I went to an outdoors sea shore concert here in Brooklyn. The concert ground is situated between Brighton Beach (russian heaven) and Coney Island (home of the world's first and oldest rollercoaster).

Before someone laughs at me (feel free to laugh anyway!) the concert was FREE So, I got to see .... ta dah!.... drumroll please..... Liza Minelli with opening act Christopher Cross . I had really gone there to hear one song :- the theme from the movie "Arthur" (which just happens to be one of my favourite movies in the world) that he sings. The rest was a glorious train wreck - awful, but you just can't turn away from it. By the time that she barely croaked "New York, New York" I was jumping for joy that it's time to leave

Dearest of Frunzes, I hope you can forgive tempory insanity that made me, for even a second, think of buying Crocs. Had you been subjected to a drunk and rambling Liza Minelli for 2 hours while standing in high heels, you too would feel the same way

Still on offer

Do you know of anywhere to download "Nu Pogodi!" without p2p?
