Chris Rock

Denis Leary ("No Cure For Cancer" is my all time favorite cd....and I know he ripped off Bill Hicks for a lot of the bits on that cd...it's still funny)

Lewis Black

Bill Hicks

Brian Regan

Steven Wright

Steve Martin

Robin Williams

Russell Peters

and 'cause they are the only comedy cds I can play when my kids are around (I'm not joking, my daughter loves these guys so much and makes me play them all the time, she actually is starting to sound like a red neck):

Jeff Foxworthy
Bill Engvall

so what non-American comics do you find funny?

I actually forgot one of the British comics that I listen to a lot: Eddie Izzard. The only comic I know that can do 20 funny minutes on the Trojan War.

I also forgot Bill Cosby. Early Cosby is brilliant. His 20-30 minute bit about sharing a bed with his little brother: "To Russell, My Brother, Whom I Slept With" is a classic.
