Personally I use Firefox with the CustomizeGoogle add-on.

With this add-on you get this line at the top of the Google results page:
Try your search on Yahoo, Ask, AllTheWeb, Live, Lycos, Technorati, Feedster, Wikipedia, Bloglines, Altavista
