Embarrassed? Whatever for? These are completely random strangers. I thought it was hyllarious Made me smile for the first time in days
You are absolutely right....

even about Cream, as much as I used to like them ..I only take them out
once in awhile to trigger memories. But I do like Live Cream,(vols.1 and 2) for a muscian a lot of great jamming in it's purest form going on there, and it's Clapton when he still had the fire in his belly.

Not according to his autobiography. As far as I remember, he was miserable and hated his Cream days with a passion.

To be honest, I am not that big into the classic guitar driven rock'n'roll. I know I am about to get slapped But it just has never been my thing.

Yes I know Clapton and Bruce and Baker were at odds and they were
trying to out play each other at that time and played with alot of anger.
But it is intriguing listening as a guitarist and others that have played
in similar bands.Through the mess their brilliance shines.

And I know that guitar driven extended jams tend to bore the majority.
Those who do it,as I did, was for the loyal minority.
I played a few Weddings and Bar Mitsvah's for cash and hated it.
Gave my Tuxedo to a friend and vowed I rather be broke than do it again.
I went back and Jammed in small clubs for half the money, looking back
it was a great move.I started to teach as a result and it all worked out fine.
As they say; follow your muse.

I looked pretty good but never wore a tie had to keep the top button open or I couldn't play. I started wearing those Texas ties (Bolos? I think) as a compromise, when I got a complaint from a manager of one of these dumps...

Don't get me wrong,I like to dress up at times, but on my own terms.
