Looking for Laura Nyro album Smile

I buy my food at a local market and there is this one guy who is unbelievably kind and helpful. Really seems to care that people get taken care of. So tonight I asked him if there are any albums he loves but can't find.

He immediately said, "Laura Nyro's album from 1976, "Smile". The guy doesn't have a computer so I'll put in the time to convert the mp3's to .wav files and put it on an audio CD for him as a gift.

Can anyone point me toward this album???

chamlin, there is a special sticky for 'hard to find' music, would have seen your notice
earlier had you posted it there.

i do own that album on vinyl, though it wont help you very much: the earliest i could convert
it into WAV or MP3 would be around Xmas, when i am back home. would love to do it, though.

tell the guy he has an excellent taste, anyhow, and he might for the time being enjoy an
excellent live album of her, available on lavamus (for free, most of us). has lots of 70's songs on
it, though it is from '89.

Chamlin your post was fine here because it was put in the lounge and that's

By the way, a while back there was a thread that showed how to search a bunch of music sites via google...to somehow program in a search. Can anyone point me in that thread's direction?
