Michael Jackson - 06-26-2009, 01:11 PM

Love him or hate him, there is no denying that Mr Jackson had a unique & enviable talent. From his 1st solo album "Off the Wall" the man was a musical genius. But, somewhere deep down inside there was a troubled soul.

For him to die at such a very young age is tragic, but he will live on in his music which has touched the lives of millions.

My sentiments as well. Surprised there hasn't been more acknowledgments on here about someone history will truly prove to be a great contribution to the music world.

if i remember how much i liked and enjoyed him in the earlier years,
i feel sad how much i 'lost' him later on.

but with the troubled life he has had recently, i am sure he is now in a
much better world, doing the moon walk.

This was a man who made one magnificent album but in my opinion, little else of lasting significance. Yes, I was sorry to hear of his death and sad to see his life unravel over the last decade, but as a father, I cannot mourn his passing.

I was a big Jackson 5 fan and thought Michael was a extremely talented performer and writer. And he will be missed by the masses.

May he rest in peace...

Amazing Talent - 06-26-2009, 07:28 PM

He made a huge impact in the entertainment world and will be missed by so many. His music videos were so groundbreaking and unforgettable. What an amazing performer, dancer, singer, and entertainer. Talent like his is so rare and inspirational.

Hugh shock . I was never a big fan, but he certainly new how to entertain . I was ambling around one of the local charity shops this morning and found a copy of thriller on vinyl which I just had to buy; even though I don't own a turntable . I look forward to giving it a spin when I get one for my Birthday .
NB. Good to see you again Vik; even if it was just a flying visit .

It's been a long time

Now the childhood is really gone.... I grew up listening to his music. Not telling that I was his crazy fan... I enjoy really good music and kind people, i bet you agree that it is all about him.
Rest in peace, Michael. You will always have a place in our hearts, in mine for sure
