not really, tough and stringy, little taste. but i was not joking about the
waterbuffalo above, that is really some of the best meat one can get. have
not tried the imported mass-farmed-ones, might be different.

Thanks I will pass on the reindeer then, as you say water buffalo meat is very good, low in saturated fat so it's OK for us with high cholesterol.

I don't know where the meat I tried came from but I remember it was very enjoyable.

>> anette louisan ... The "childish" voice is a tad annoying without
>> understanding the German lyrics

perfect explanation. it was annoying to me too, untill you hear the words
making you sit upright. and thats what i meant with irinas 'sweet' voice
too - very often to sweet for what she has to say.

see her entry in wikipedia (engl) to have others compare her looks/voice
with her lyrics. also found one english writeup ...

'' ... The first one, my favourite among the favourites, is Das Spiel, sang
by Anette Louisan. Boys, watch out, she looks so innocent, her voice is
the sweetest and the music sounds so romantic, that at first you could
think that it is a love song but she just wants to play a bit more. And if
you fell in love, if you don’t sleep anymore thinking of your night with her,
if you go crazy when she rubbs, and burn under her hand well, she is
sorry about it, but she just wanted to play. Oops…

Dass du dich verliebst
Weil du’s mit mir tust
Dass es dich so trifft
Hab ich nicht gewußt
Es war nie geplant
dass du dich jetzt fühlst
Wie einer von vielen
Ich will doch nur spielen
Ich tu doch nichts
Ich will doch nur spielen
Ich tu doch nichts ... ''

lets leave it at at that, it was just a comparison, anyhow.

Ok, Let's leave it at that.

I guess I don't really see Irina Bogushevskaya's voice as being "sweet". It may be as pure as fine crystal at times, but not "sweet".

Annette for me might be an acquired taste. Her voice doesn't sound "sweet", it sounds like a delivery of a 7 year old - literally, "childish". And something about her looks that doesn't make me think "innocent", but makes me think Chucky (yes, the evil doll from "Child's Play")

That's from spending 5 minutes in front of YouTube. I am probably being a bit unfair. I might give her another chance.
