Sir Fly, I hope my spelling correction wasn't upsetting. I was just trying to wisecrack about the fact that you don't, you REALLY don't like metal
No not at all!! It was funny....

No I'm far from being there just now...

I am trying though,in the past I have jammed with great metal players
because it's Blues based and must say had a blast.

But when it comes to actually just sitting down and listening,
I don't have the patience for most of the screaming singers....

But I have found that I do like Metalica and one of my students
Brandon, is making a compilation of his favorite tracks for me.

That's why I love teaching, the young people help to keep me relevant or
at least try to.....

Nightfly,
you are almost coming out of the closet with this metal thing, almost.

Great news, Nightfly

It always pays to be open minded when it comes to appreciating music.
Not all metal is screaming or growling vocalists, that's too extreme for even most metal fans.
There's plenty of quality material out there.
