Same with me!! I only have this problem when I sync up my iPod, and it started in past couple of days. So, yeah, I know I don't have 2 software running in parallel, because it's not duplicating, except from my iPod. How bizarre. How bizarre!

I went to Last.FM forums, and it's a common problem for everyone at the moment it seems. They also advise not to remove redundancies yourself. Last.FM should sort it out and have done it in the past.
