still can't put the new Metallica - Death Magnetic down

Although I have also had a bit of an 80's kick lately with Joy Division, Echo and the Bunnymen and Talk Talk for some reason.

Joy Division's "Atmosphere" is beautiful and odd in the same breath.

That's awesome! It's good stuff. The good thing about it is that a lot of her lyrics are just confluent sounds creating a mood - not really meaningful at all. So you can enjoy a lot of it without losing much significance. She's very diverse, eh? From angsty to ballads. The first 2 albums are my favourites. Third one is pretty good too. The last one is, well, crap

Also today listened to...

Avenged Sevenfold - Live in the LBC
David Gilmour - Live in Gdansk
Oasis - Dig out your soul (very decent as well)
and finished it off with Dropkick Murphys Live on St. Patricks Day

can't wait to hear the new Kenny Chesney - Lucky Old Sun (deluxe edition) (when I find it)
