Nightwish - Dark Passion Play (can't get enough of this album)
Sonata Artica
Slayer - Reign in Blood
metallica - master of puppets
Kamelot - Ghost Opera
Dream Theater - Systematic Chaos
Pantera - Cowboys from hell
and probably some Scorpions, Megadeth and Helloween

If wife is home, which she said she wants to stay home today, playlist will change to country or pop
As you like symphonic metal (great taste by the way) Check out Dark Princess, a Russian Symphonic metal band in the Within Temptation mould. Great looking (and sounding) vocalist Olga Romanova ROCKS.

Too True. I think though that "Once" is their greatest work

The thought of being stuck in a room listening to Michael Bolton has suddenly brought on very vivid images of "The Clockwork Orange", when he was put in a clinical room and forced to listen to Beethoven's 9th and forced to watch horrific images while unable to close his eyes.

I am more than happy to be stuck in a room listening to Beethoven's 9th forever though.

Duffy is a phenomenal singer and super cute too.

Britney has definitely lost most of her allure. Not so much because of the 10-15 pounds (I'd be doomed if I said otherwise!) but because of her rather unseemly behavior as off late.

Just to put your mind at ease, Princess: I probably haven't listened to any Michael Bolton songs since 1991

I have just listened to "Break The Ice" on my 7 km running route

I'm still not quite back to where I was prior to Berlin (where I ran 10 km each day) but a qualified guess will be that I'll hit peak condition again sometime late July - early August

I thought about going to the gym last night. That's half way there in my books

It's been a long time

But you also have a very BIG hat on your head. It's quite heavy and makes thinking extra difficult. Almost like going to the gym in itself.

Hi Damo

I haven't heard any of her music (Dark Princess) but I can definitely say that Olga Romanova does not trigger anything with me Duffy is a little cuter - but I guess they both miss something vital for me... Hmmm, let's see... 10-15 pounds maybe?

I could (and this is hypothetically spoken of course ) have 'snapped'/captured numerous pictures these last days that would have pumped immensely more testosterone through my blood stream and thus awakening my stone age male genes
