Not Glastonbury I know but I did catch a couple of good concerts on Sky Arts HD over the weekend.

Cream Reunion concert - I forgot how good Jack Bruce is on bass

And the Queen with Paul Rogers (front man of Free), it was good to see that they did some Free tracks and not just Queen stuff.

Good stuff for an old man like me

I heard Amy Winehouse was in good vocal shape -

save for the fact that she punched out an audience member upon the set conclusion

Murray Head - 07-02-2008, 12:16 AM

Listening to a few tracks from Murray Head's greatest hits. Forgot he had some great songs besides One Night in Bangkok. Good stuff.

I listened to some on YouTube the other day. It was good accompaniment (albeit very briefly) for cleaning and packing up my old place. After only a couple of tracks I swopped it for my regular cleaning music - B52's and INXS. before ultimately defaulting back to my Happy Place Music, the tunes I am happy to listen to every single day of my life regardless of mood - ABBA I might be listening to A LOT of ABBA now that I am staying with my parents

my wife is wanting to see that movie Mamma Mia! that is coming out soon. I'd rather wake up with my head sewn to the carpet.

For all your hard rock fans - try some Soilwork (rejection role kills), and some Godsmack (pick up the acoustic disc)

Are you kidding me? ABBA is the greatest ever!!! If I had to take ONE album to the deserted island I'd take the ABBA "Gold" compilation.

I'd seen the "Mamma Mia" musical 4 times. Three on Broadway (NY) and one in the West End (Ldn). I wish I could see it once a week (at least!)

Although I can't really speak much for Colin Firth's (my eye candy!!!) singing ability from the previews but I am looking forward to the movie eagerly. Here's to two hours of pure joy!
