ZML Just say no - 08-04-2008, 06:54 PM

So my friend decides to try the ZML service advertised on this site for "movie downloads from $1.99". Here is what he found:

1) Minimum deposit is $19.95
2) The three year old movie he chose was $4.99
3) The download time on DSL took 2.5 hours.
4) The end result was a DVD screener of watchable but average quality with the audio and the video not synched 100%.

Just hoping to help someone not make the same mistake my friend made....oh well back to the video store

bob, maybe just bad luck: see the reports in other postings, incl mine: friends and
myself have now used it 30+ times, usally AVI files much cheaper than you quote, and in
reasonable quality. sound was never out of sync, thats the one think i hate most.

D/L speed was, after the first few time in may/june, always near the top the line brought.

or maybe the other way around: just good luck on this side.

how many times did you try?

greets - henry

Hi Henry,

That was only the result of one D/L, but I've got 3 more to check out. It is possible that the audio sync is a result of having to convert from AVI to DVD so it will play on my ancient DVD player. Will report back after using the rest of the balance.

Cofusicious say..... Never argue with a man who has seven secretaries

bob, confucious should have said: 'a man who has seven secretaries is punished enough,
so dont bother to argue with him
'.

or: 'a man with seven secretaries knows why not to argue'

good luck with your movies, hope it is better next time. actually watched one (AVI) last night,
quite good on standard large TV, no artifacts, no sound problem. there was no secretary around.

greetings - henry

I don't have seven secretaries, so I would like to argue with the above statement!
