GoMusic took over from where mp3search.ru left (for a while at least). You were immediately able to use your former MP3Search account without any fuzz on
GoMusic.
It's another example of a shop with no DRM (like all music shops in the world ought to be). Most files are in either 192 kbps or variable bitrate. All files are mp3 and the quality is good. All songs are priced $0.19, which is more than twice the price from one year ago.
GoMusic even has a small collection of audiobooks at variable prices ranging from $2.95 to $9.00. The majority is either $2.95 or $4.50.
Six month after their sudden disappearance MPSearch were back online and looked almost identical to
GoMusic and its Ukrainian sister store
mp3.ua. I'm pretty sure they all three are under the same ownership.
In a sidebar they make clear that they are very proud of the fact, that they pay the rightful owners 50% of the price of each song. I don't know if this is a fact or not - but judging from the doubling in price, it sounds believable.
