After not downloading for a couple of weeks I went back to the site, logged in, chose some tunes and suddenly I can't download any music. I keep getting messages like "connection cannot be established" in IE, and "gomusic.ru cannot be found" in Netscape. I emailed tech support at
gomusic and they assured me the links were working and to try again (and again and again). Each thing I tried I got the same message. They keep responding - politely - simply that the problem is not with their site and their downloads are working.
The thing is....I CAN download from
mp3sugar still....so its not the download manager; I CAN access ALL the other pages on
gomusic (like search, my cart, my accounts, album info) so it can't really be a "server" issue or I wouldn't be able to access ANY of their site would I? It ONLY happens with the downloads....they time out and I get those two messages.
I only have 4.78 left in my account but 4.78 is 4.78 and what do I do with it if they refuse to take any responsibility or look into the issue further? It's not like I can get that money back....or use it, apparantly. More importantly though, I have already paid for a bunch of mp3s that NOW I can't download.
