Unable to add funds via Visa CC

Ive tried with 2 different Visa cards to add funds and get a failed transaction. Any particular reason?

Also, I have +60 free tracks in my account balance. Is it possible to use these +60 free tracks? I remember getting the offer when the site was in infanacy.

This is the reply I got from gomusic.ru regarding the +free tracks

You can use free tracks if your account is less than c.u.0.19.

1. On album page selected songs to shopping cart. Please remember, you cannot
buy the whole album for free songs, only song by song, pressing the "add
selected songs to Shopping cart" button.

2. Please go to your cart http://www.gomusic.ru/cart.aspx and confirm your
purchasing opposite to each song (put on “pay for it” in the “actions”-column)

3. After updating the page you can download music. To download mp3 click right
mouse button on the download link in the “links”-column - green arrow to
download and select “save target as”, then choose destination folder for mp3
file. The downloaded file will be saved in this folder.

I have had the same failed VISA reponse at GOmusic. After getting a email from support on this problem they informed me that my transaction failed,...however 3 or 4 business days later the charge did go through to the credit card and my balance was refilled.

If I did everything correctly I wouldn't advise trying another credit card until I found out what was going on to avoid 2 new charges put on those cards or to make sure what exactly happened to the first failed transaction.

I never had any problems paying for gomusic.ru, and they're an excellent site. What I don't understand with those sites like mp3sparks etc.: if they have repeatedly problems with credit card companies, why don't they use payment companies like CCBill, Chronopay etc.? The companies used by the porn sites. Instead of making payment impossible.

Hi Valdemar and welcome to the forum


They did use Chronopay but the RIAA put so much pressure on (and probably bribed/compensated) Visa that Chronopay had to stop accepting payments from the site

And you're right that it is extremely weird that these payment processors aren't having the same kind of trouble collecting money from the more obscure/questionable of the porn sites (at least we never hear about the same kind of witch hunting of those sites as we do, when it comes to the Russian online music sites)

i guess because there's no such organazation like RIAA in porn niche
but i won't be surprised if such one pops up one day, uniting all the possible porn stuff and protecting copyrights
