Just followed the link, logged on and added to my cart on Sale. Will download over the weekend.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Don't hear much about Chris Rea here in the States. This is a shame as he is quite good. I often compare him to Mark Knopfler who is another favorite of mine.

Hi Nightfly,
Apart from any obvious Greatest Hits, Road To Hell is still a favourite with me, as is the bluesy double album Dancing Down The Stony Road.
Always wise to have a listen on mp3sparks first, to get a flavour
P.S. Don't touch "La Passione", it is probably the only one to give a miss.

I also recommend the live album "The Road To Hell & Back". What do you think, Chris? It's also a greatest hits album, played live.

BTW, I had bet that he was more well-known in the US

KK,
I am biased, I like almost all he has done.

Solaris,

P.S.
Anyone downloading the 11 x CD's, if you read the reviews on amazon.co.uk, you will know that on some CD's, scratches and pops have been added , so don't blame mp3sale straightaway.

Why would they intentionally add scratches and pops? To make the music sound older than it really is?
