My suggestion would be to PM Pastor39 on your requests rather than tie up space in the actual forum.

Obviously I chose my words poorly and was not clear. The cd's I would like "added" are also ones that are part of the "Coming Soon" selection.

I am well aware of the scope and timeline of the publicly released details and/or things that have been shared publicly on this forum. While I "appear" new as I registered and made my initial post in the past 2 weeks or so, I actually have lurked here for about a year. I moved to mp3sale after the mp3stor FIASCO!!! If not for the discussion here, I would have had no clue of anything going on. I still have that thread bookmarked and visit it every so often to see if anyone else has posted anything new. However, it's been quite a long time and I assume that one is certainly dead and buried.


I actually posted in the forum as a last resort - reference the long delay between my presence and actual posting. I have PM'd pastor39 several times --- that was actual my initial reason for registering. I have yet to receive any replies though. Which is why I posted requesting your method for getting those cd's "added" or more accurately updated from "Coming Soon" to active. Until pastor39 posted again on 5/3, I had concluded that he had disappeared... which was why I asked how you got them added.

And while he has re-appeared, I still have not received any responses to my PMs... the first one from ~10days or so ago (whenever it was I first registered...) and at least one other after I PM'd with solaris and he recommended PMing him as well.


I'm certainly not trying to be a bother... I realize pastor39 has some pretty big problems in the hopper at the moment.... But, I've got a whole bunch of music "Coming Soon" that I'd like to put my ears on, you know? I saw how clearly successful your Chris Rea request was, and I was only hoping to duplicate that with the numerous cd's I'd like to see updated.

I think Mark was just lucky, I was able to get the Chris Rea stuff before mp3sale went down, so I think what pastor is saying is it is just pot luck which appears first out of the "coming soon" pile, I am still waiting for "Damm Near Righteous" by Bill Medley, so it is pot luck.

I see that the Pastor has responded to part of your request list, so that is good!
Hang in there and I am sure he will get the rest of the stuff up and running.
By the way: a lot of us, including me, were caught up in the Mp3Stor deal. I only lost 6 bucks, so I feel somewhat lucky.

Yeah, unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky w/mp3stor.... But, all in all, it was a good lesson on what NOT to do. Even though it may be tempting to get it at higher levels due to increased bonuses, I try not to deposit more than $30 at a time, just due to the fact that these operations all have the ability to disappear overnight... depending on how specifically they get targeted by whichover agency it is that goes after them......

I don't much care for special treatment or want to be a bother.... But, your request did appear to be very successful, so I was hoping to repeat that success.... and actually it appears that I have... thus :

I understand you've got a lot of things to deal with and you're trying to bring things up... AND I'm sure you're inundated with "my request is very important" messages, so I do understand. And yet, of the CDs in my list, you did manage to get the one that was the most important, so you were very successful in my regard. While I'd love to see the others added sooner rather than later, you DID good! So thank you very much.

And, good luck with getting things back up and restored. There's a lot of us here pulling for you.
