Howdy;

Does anyone have an update or know what is going on at Sale?

The entire Chis Rea catalog has been in "Coming Soon" mode for some time now.
I have been waiting to download "The Return of the Fabulous Hofner Blue Notes" since mid to late March. This is based on a recommend from Chris7.

A PM to Pastor39 last week has gone unanswered as well as a posting to assistance on the site.

Downloading for other stuff works well, but would really like to see the entire catalog up to 100% complete.

You missed the boat first time round and will have to wait for its return (joke).

Still, worth the wait I think.

I've been an MP3Sale user for a long time now, and I've also been waiting and watching and staying active in their user forum for something like 4-5 weeks waiting for them to figure this whole 'coming soon' thing out.

In the first day or 2 of this happening, it was "it'll be fixed in 24 hour", then it was "it'll be fixed in a few days", then "1 week" then "just a little longer", you get the picture.

They have come up with one excuse after the other, and at this point they don't even bother answering anymore. I'd love to see them get things back, but in all honesty, I think those tracks are gone for good.Whatever the problem was/is, if they can't fix it in 5 weeks, they can't fix it.

Some of the tracks that were "coming soon" were indeed restored over the last few days.

I did log in this morning and in fact the Chris Rea album has been restored and I have purchased and am downloading now.
I did notice, however, that some of the stuff in my "basket" is gone, but that is no bit deal.

I will soon have it in my collection! Sale seems to be the only one that has it in its full 38 track release (at a decent bit rate). I found one site with only 9 tracks on it! Maybe that is the one Nightfly should get as the full collection is too much of Chris Rea! (joke)
That is one reason why I waited so long!

I'm quite impressed that you got the Chris Rea catalog added. Considering it's been about the only thing added recently, did you do anything besides posting here?

I've got about 20 albums I'd like added, and I'd like to know the best way to get a response like you did.

The catalog was not really added. It was there previously but was hanging up in the "Coming Soon" bin possibly because of the recent server problem over at Sale. This happened back in March I believe, as most of the Rea stuff went into limbo at that point.
After waiting to what I believed sufficient amount of time, I did post here and sent an email to assistance on the Sale site. I received the response from Pastor39 almost immediately after my posting here. The is usually the norm for him I must add.
I have not checked to see if anything other than the "Blue Notes" collection has been added though.
My suggestion would be to PM Pastor39 on your requests rather than tie up space in the actual forum.
Let me know if you need more help.
