Ive noticed this as well. Download speeds are quite slow.

Im on a 4mbit line, and average around 85KB/s-95KB/s. But also means I get to browse the internet and do emails at the same time

Unhappy Slow Speeds Again - 10-05-2007, 05:34 PM

Dial up speeds today trying to download, they are aware so hopefully they can find the problem, although slow speeds seem to be an ongoing problem?

I just downloaded 10 tracks in 1 minute 08 seconds. Not as fast as SoundsBox or LegalSounds but not bad either

Strange that, after reading your post I tried again, still the same for me in the UK, and there is even a thread on their own Forum about it?

Hi Chris.

Just downloaded "How To Survive In South Central" by Ice Cube (from the Boyz 'n The Hood soundtrack). It took a whopping 18 seconds, which is almost as slow as MP3Sparks

It could be that one experiences slower speeds the farther one comes from the MPSale servers? I'm in Scandinavia by the way.

Everything is as usual - even pre-listens start instantly

Well, now with your post I'm 99% sure, that it's some global channels problem between providers. I'm getting the same speed as usual, but US visitors are getting 5-10kb/sec

Dear Pastor39,

according to your own forum on your website, the earliest you may sort out/look at this problem is Monday, by then this problem will be in its fifth day, not a good state of affairs I would have thought?

Well, as I previously said, we thought that it's the problem on our end, but as we can see - it's provider's problem (some channel problems between Russia and Europe). So all we can do - is wait until they'll fix it.
