After a week, still the same slow speeds in the UK at least, 33-35KB/sec download on a 4MB connection.

The other day I actually experienced those 30-40 KB/sec downloads you talk about - but right now I downloaded Nicole Scherzinger Feat. T.I.-Whatever You Like at 900 KB/sec

Earlier this afternoon I downloaded Mike Oldfield's new album and was pleased to get about 95KB/sec, which is a good improvement, lets hope it settles down OK for us in the UK.

P.S. Solaris,

900KB/sec, what connection you on 10MB?

Hi, for me, everything is okay now since yesterday. I downloaded (using Free Download Manager) with 1200 kB/s, 4 days ago it was 35 kBit(s...

It seems, they fixed it for Europe.

I downloaded this morning in the UK using the GetRight downloader and managed to get an average of 271KB/sec for a ZIP album, very good.
