I just wanted to gather some statistics of your download speeds from mp3sale.ru...

I really need to do this, cause we're recieving messages about very slow downloads from some users.

I've tested it almost once a day from Moscow, Russia - and it always gives a speed not less than 700-1000Kilobytes/sec... And in 90% cases - over 2Kilobytes. So 1 song downloads in 2-5 seconds.

just downloaded an album from mp3sale.ru and it downloaded at a reasonable speed (i.e. ~80kbps on a 512 broadband connection). nb this is pretty similar to the download speed I get with other sites I use,

I just downloaded a few tracks and they all had download speeds within a 450-600 KB/sec. interval, which is on par with MusicMP3.ru and MP3Stor.

It's a bit faster than MP3Sparks but a lot slower than MP3Fiesta, LegalSounds or JustMusicStore (which have 2-3 times faster download speeds).

But nevertheless your download speed is fine

My only point of criticism must be that your site takes a long time to load - sometimes 4-5 seconds - which is really irritating and almost as bad as LegalSounds (which sometimes takes 6-8 seconds to load). MusicMP3, MP3Stor, MP3Sparks, JustMusicStore and MP3Fiesta all load in less than 1 second.

1. Concerning download speed - I guess it just depends on a hosting provider.
2. Concerning page loading speeds - yeah, we know about this problem, but can't figure out the reasons of this (not sure if it's server or scripts or both of them), but for now - today it loads in 1 sec... No idea why

Apologies, but I have posted this reply here as well as the other one.

As someone that uses mp3sale.
I always use GetRight download manager, and I always download the complete album in one Zip file, yet my speed is never that good, probably because it stops and starts downloading every 30-60 seconds, EVERYTIME I download the one Zip file, after a few seconds it restarts again?
Probably me as no one else seems to be moaning?
Remember, it is the internet connection which is stopping and starting not the program! Never happens with fiesta/sparks/alltunes?

It's more for fans, actually. They don't care about sound quality, it's mostly for collection, not for listening....

Looks like we've finally found the reason, so now our site load in less than 1 second as well. Could you please check and tell us if that works from your side that fast as well, or not?
