Flashget problems - 04-18-2008, 06:35 AM

Is anyone else having problems with downloads from MP3sale with Flashget? About one in every two or three downloads stops at 99% done and wont restart. I cant complain because you can just download again with MP3sale for free but its an inconvienence in terms of download quota. It goes toward my download quota but I get nothing for it. Nothing I can listen to anyway.

Hi loungefly,

I have used Flashget in the past and experienced the same problem as you describe.

I then switched to using Free Download Manager and I much prefer it, I have had no problems with it, so it maybe worth a go.

Here`s the link:
Free Download Manager - absolutely free download accelerator and manager

Exactly the same problem with Flashget for me. However, downloading off of Sale lately has not been a picnic.
I use Internet Download Manager and even with using it, I had to start and stop about 5 times to get a complete album to download. That was just a while ago.
My point is that it may not be Flashget. It may be on Mp3Sale.
In all fairness, they have been having problems lately, so it may take some more time to correct the issues.

Mark,

I tried using their zipfile downloader but found that it took 15mins for 1 album....yawn...
When I use Flashget(i guess i'm lucky and and have a old stable version
and never updated) I get all the files say 12 songs in 4 mins....but 4 of them
are not good and I have to go back and re-download them..I think it is a challenge for us all in some way or another..but they are working on a downloader as we speak..checkout the mp3sale forum.

Hi Loungefly

This may not be an mp3sale issue, I see this sometimes with Flashget using mclub (although quite rarely). Another dl manager seems a good place to start.

I find "Free Download Manager" to be flawless and use it for Fiesta and MusicMP3 along with mp3sale.

Nightfly;

I forgot about the mp3sale forum. I think I registered sometime last year.
Thanks for reminding me.
I really like Sale, but lately with the download issues and the server problem, my patience wearing a bit thin.

Mark,

I've been using Mp3sale with just a "little" problem but very managable.
It's still a good functioning site with a good catalogue.
I use it on a regular basis and sometimes I have to re-download a file or 2
no big deal in the whole scheme of things.
