Hi Helios

May I point out in a spirit of friendship that you shouldn't link to images hosted off-site (Forum Rule No. 7).
http://www.aom3.org/forum/f9/aom3-forum-rules-940.html (Aom3 Forum Rules)
It's much better to upload the image with your post.

And I guess for a Russian site, it should really be a red squirrel

Good afternoon Nighfly, hope you are well today.

It's a little fiery in the forum today.

To be honest I still cannot see why there is a need to do this.

Personally I really only use the one identity and this one was only created for a bit of fun. I think that everyone knows who the people are behind the names so what harm is there in allowing multiple log-ins.

It seems to me that Vik maybe closer to the real reason, in that some people may have abused the freebies. Surely a better way of dealing with that would be to do an IP check before issuing any freebies rather than the draconian method that has been proposed.

If it really is a database problem then why not get rid of the zero post accounts first?

I am always there but sometimes you just can't see me

Good Afternoon Ashley,

I am well thanks.

I'm sorry but I am staying neutral on this one ,because I do not have a strong
opinion one way or the other to really jump in.I do not like to see
the anguish of members and friends and do hope this is worked out to a
satisfactory conclusion for all.We all must remember to respect each other,
even in times of differences, especially in times of differences.

Sometimes it is better not to be in the loop, and just be a Moderator and
let the people speak.

I believe if some of the emotion is cleared out a bit, we can think clearly
and productively.I also think that aom3 will listen to the members and take in what they have to say and act on it.

I plan on going about my business and enjoy the site. That's why I'm here.

That's the best way if you have no strong opinions. Personally it will not have a great affect on me if Aku does have to go, but what disappoints me more is that this seems to be using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

As you say hopefully aom3 will listen to the feelings of the regulars here and do the decent thing. I've said my bit now so end of discussion.

Back to the real business. Martinman asked me about the Mahler work we commented on the other evening, looks like your magic is working again and another member is about to discover classical music.

I recommended Mahler's 4th because it is Mahler's lightest Symphony
and has a nice forward flow to it. I believe it's themes are about rebirth
and Spring.
The 2nd can be a little heavy handed to the uninitiated and demands to be listened to.But well worth the effort in the end.

I have to admit I have not heard the 4th but I found the performance of the 2nd, I watched the other evening, to be absorbing. I was going to have a look for it on Sparks but they are down at the moment.
I will also have a listen to the 4th as this is recommended in the 1000 Recordings To Hear Before You Die book.
The recording they recommend is by The Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Herbert von Karajan.
