Not sure if this is related to things coming back up or an entirely new problem, but after successfully downloading a few previously unavailable albums, I'm now getting this: "DOWNSERV: Error: cannot open file for reading" when trying to download purchased albums?

Pastor? Anybody?

Getting there... :-) - 07-09-2008, 12:20 AM

Thanks for keeping us updated, Pastor, and congratulations on your progress!

FYI, just for some feedback on one user's status:

1) As of 7 p.m. Eastern U.S. time on Tuesday evening, the tracks for 1 of the 17 albums waiting in My Music have switched from "Coming Soon" to a download icon (yay!) ; and,

2) As other users have reported on the forum over at MP3Sale, I only have the option to download individual tracks, not the entire album in one .zip file. Not a big deal since there's only one, but (doing some quick math) when the other 16 albums become available (keeping my fingers crossed, hope it's soon!), I'll have around 200 manual downloads to do if the album-level option isn't available.

Overall, I'm very happy to hear that I'll soon be able to download music I paid for a month ago, and I look forward to getting back to using the site. Based on your progress, if you think there's something unusual about the fact that 16/17 of my albums still aren't downloadable, please let me know, and I'd be happy to help you look into it.

Thanks again!

Bob

Is anything working yet? - 07-09-2008, 05:10 PM

I'm being patient but I'm using up my credit for music I cannot download. It goes to "my music" and it shows an icon for downloading but it won't download. Is it only me?

Mmm... same here, but they actually start downloading after a while. I just have to babysit them, restart them when they time out. It's sloooow, but i think i get one or two albums down per hour.
