I've never used iTunes to play mp3s, so I have no idea why...
I guess I won't be able to help you this time....

Give me good old reliable MP3Fiesta anyday.
NEVER had any problem with them in the slightest.

Anyone else ?
Spoke too soon - since Fiesta chose yesterday/today to DOUBLE their downloading costs - without warning or explanation........

I download quite a lot of stuff from mp3sale and usually use itunes to import the tracks onto my computer and it has never reversed the tracks, or done anything unusual to the tagging. Not sure what is going wrong with what you are seeing, but I kind of doubt it is mp3sales tagging at fault,
Cheers,

Petra, if the tracks you've bought haven't been tagged properly, your iPod won't know in which order to put them

A lack of tagging has only happened to me a few times on MP3Sale (more often they forget to remove the tagging of the place, they originally got the tracks from ) - but the real culprit have to be MP3Skyline, where more than 50% of the tracks I have bought have been without any tagging at all

Here's an explanation of ID3-tagging of MP3-files: ID3 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Downloads from Sparks/MM without using Alltunes also aren't tagged with track numbers. Thus, they end up being sorted alphabetically on my iPod unless I add in track numbers myself. Most of the time I am not really bothered with it. For some albums, I really do want the proper order - but not often. I know some people care more, but for me there's only one album that must be heard in proper order - "Beatles - Abbey Road"

If the albums are tagged correctly (a problem I have never had with MP3Sale), then it doesn't matter which order you download them in.

If you see the tracks in reverse order in Itunes, make sure all of your sorting fields are correct AND that you are not looking at "recently added" rather than your "my music" tab.

Look - it HAS HAPPENED !

And - NEVER BEFORE with iTunes, AllTunes or MP3Fiesta.
I WOULDN'T have raised it if it wasn't unusual !

I'm not a) paranoid or b) a complete pc novice
But - this guy is a female guy.
Thank you.

P.S. With my refund from Fiesta after their swingeing price-rise, I've now joined LegalSounds which have better prices.
AND - NO reverse order un-tagging...
Or - cutting tracks short either.
To date.
Since yesterday - that is.
