MP3Sale - what a Joke ?! - 05-15-2008, 09:28 AM

I was finally able to join MP3Sale recently after several unsuccessful attempts...presumably ' taking advantage ' of their €50 extra to the initial €50 payment.....

Just wish I hadn't bothered !

Various problems-

1.SO MUCH of their ' catalogue' is listed as ' Coming Soon ' - BUT it never seems to.....and this isn't just confined to new albums....

2.Many of their downloads cut short before the end of the tracks - I've lost count of how many.

3.You send messages to their alleged ' support service ' - BUT NEVER get any response.

4.They are often ' unavailable' due to server maintenance ' - then you finally get back on - to find that absolutely NOTHING has changed at all.

Apparently, they have suffered ' server problems'.....
But - it doesn't stop them acting like a bunch of ' cowboys ' ( with Respect !) - and taking your money.

If I'd known just HOW BAD it was - I'd have NEVER joined.

Give me good old reliable MP3Fiesta anyday.
NEVER had any problem with them in the slightest.

Anyone else ?

As well as the problems listed above - many albums are downloaded in reverse order of track listings.
Which doesn't help.

Thought there may have been more comments on MP3Sale - which, if I remember correctly - seemed to be ' much-praised ' only a few months ago.....

Hi Petra

Isn't it indifferent which order the tracks are downloaded in - as long as the tagging of the individual track is the correct one?

It was much praised a few months ago (and rightly so) - but since then it has had its difficulties, which you guys sometimes LOUDLY have pointed out

P.S. I'm glad (and I mean that) you weren't scared off our site the last time you spoke your mind

Re ' tagging ' Solaris - don't understand !
Usually - tracks drop into iTunes music library in the correct album running order.
Never had this strange inversion you often get with MP3Sale.....
