Though I might agree with you slightly about Mp3sugar..
I do not like the ambiguous phrase "these Russian sites"...

Most of them do have there stuff together and are providing a great product and service to the masses.

I didn't mean to sound sarcastic, and maybe you're right. My experience with MP3Sparks and MP3Sugar have probably jaded me somewhat. MP3Sugar, initially a good site, but they are living on borrowed time, don't upgrade their catalog, and compared to eMusic... I confess; eMusic has me spoiled rotten.

I'd like to think that maybe there is a shakeout going on now with the Russian sites. It's hopeful to think that one site (or two) will eventually emerge as the killer mp3 site from Russia: the sky will open, the light will come down, and you know the rest....

Dan,

I am a big fan of eMusic as well, but it is not fair of me to compare
them to any other sites, because they have a ton of dough to acomplish things,and there is just a great deal of music that the Russian sites supply for me that eMusic can't supply.

There are many Russian sites that work hard to stay up day and night,
take credit cards and upgrade their new arrivals daily...not a easy task
by anybodys standards.

Well, if Mp3Skyline and Mp3Sale were to gang up on the rest, they would surely conquer all before them!

I predict this WILL happen, but it's still too early to know who the winner(s) will be. Certainly there is a shakeout going on.

I've abandoned mp3sugar, as I'm sure many others have as well. It appears to be just a 'zombie' site now. I've moved on to MediaClub of Odessa, Ukraine, and have been absolutely delighted with their wide selection, their excellent user interface... and their PayPal option. My money is currently on them. They are serious competition.

i can't login in mp3sugar using my details, also there's no way to signup with a new account, my balance is still high and i dun know how to do, i have contact them by email but no answers and some emails was returned to me..

I see my login at Mp3Sugar is not working either. Fortunately my balance is very small. I certainly don't think Mp3Sugar deserves the glowing review over at rutunes.com .

Greetings from Venezuela!

Since Friday I can't login to my account. I think Mp3sugar is dead because even the catalogue doesn't appear. I wrote to ALL the email directions that appear in the website and had no answer. What can I do? It's a problem of my network area (Venezuela) or is that mp3sugar just passed away? Plz I really need help

BTW, when I try to login, it sends me to Download Mp3 Music, mp3 downloads : MP3Sugar.Com

Yep. Same here. Login not working.

P.S. Yes, it definitely doesn't deserve the glowing review on Rutunes. I somehow feel justified now for having, rather unappologetically, backed out of writing that review in the first place.

Hi catsofbodom, welcome to the forum

No, it's not just Venezuela, I can't see their catalogue either. I guess their database is offline. They've relocated since I last checked, so maybe they're still 'in transit'. I don't think you can say they're dead until the site disappears completely, but they haven't been looking healthy for a while.
