Back... but still funding problems - 12-13-2007, 04:24 AM
I can log in again, but for the last month, I haven't been able to fund my account with a credit card. I had this problem with them before and it took awhile for them to fix it. That time, there was a >>Notify Me<< button to get an email sent when they had it back... this time around its been no CC for quite some time... maybe they have a death wish...

They have had this replenishment problem for a year or so - but there are ways around this problem though:

MusicMP3 at the moment “only” offers these payment options: WebMoney, paysafe, Ukash, e-gold and 1bip (micro payment) but some users even have a PayPal option. - but I guess you're not one of those

But on top of that there is a gift code option, where you purchase an activation code from sister site GoldenMP3 (which accepts credit cards), which you can then redeem on MusicMP3. You just log into GoldenMP3 using your MusicMP3 username/password. Pretty handy

I think thats about the same way I managed to end up back at Mp3Sparks after AllofMp3 went off line.

I just bought a $50 card over at CardsOnLine for GoldenMp3.
Then I logged back in to add money at GoldenMp3... oops ...

it goes to a blank page...

I guess I have to talk to their support staff...

I got a reply back from GoldenMP3 after two tries.

They said that there was a glitch in their system and it is now taken care of.
(I was able to buy another card, then use it to replenish my account.)

As for the original card, my money will be refunded after 2 to 3 weeks.
(haven't seen it yet...)

I like the way they tell you that you have 24 hours to use your card, but they can take 2 to 3 weeks to give you your money back on their mistake...

Cheers!!!

I got my refund back for the botched gift card transaction...

Seems most of these shops are honest and working hard to keep the
customer happy because the business has become more competitive.
