When did musicmp3 switch to euro? - 08-26-2008, 12:38 AM

Just wondering, when did musicmp3 switch their currency to euro?

Switch to Euro
We’re glad to inform our customers that for their convenience MusicMP3.ru makes a switch to Euro. From now on our prices are denominated in Euros.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience, but due to some technical difficulties credit card payments are temporarily unavailable. We do our best to resolve this problem ASAP. Meanwhile, please use other payment methods featured on our site. Thanks!

Being Sisters, goldenmp3.ru has gone the same way, once again it's a pity no rep for the sites bothered to come on here to let us know, another sad state of affairs.

We do our best on here to help the music sites and their customers (us) and some just seem they cannot be bothered.

It's not ALL bad

The money already sitting in your account in $ just had a € put in front of it instead.

I.e. if you had $140 in your account before the change (which took place a couple of weeks ago) you had 140 Euro AFTER the change of currency

The bad part being the 50% increase in price, when you want to replenish your MusicMP3 account from now on (because of the weak dollar)

When I log into my musicmp3 account (today), it still has a $ in front of my balance and says tracks are $0.15 each ??
