I just joined Legalsounds a few minutes ago and added to my balance via MasterCard with no problems.

hmm, tried it a couple of times more the last few days but again without success (with VISA btw). I will give it a try through Assist-ID, hopefully this will work out.
Thanks for your replies

once you go LegalSounds... - 05-30-2007, 04:46 PM

Man, I've been away from here for a while - mostly because I had given up hope for ever using allofmp3 successfuly again. Since I found LegalSounds, I have no desire to work with these other sites. I can easily charge it to my credit card (have done so numerous times), it has a fairly extensive library, and it's cheap. Very rarely do I question the quality - even at 192, I rarely hear the difference, and I listen closely. I guess the only problem is that it is only slightly less user friendly compared to the other sites, but for the cost, ease, and efficiency, I don't know why anyone is bothering with anything else right now.

I'd like to hear people's thoughts/opinions as to what I'm missing out there - why hasn't everyone switched to LegalSounds?

Thanks again for this site guys. It's great to talk to you all.

Hi,
I like legalsounds and I think they have an excellent catalogue in some of the more usual indie stuff:- They are only site I have found which stocks 'The Montgolfier Brothers' (worth a listen everyone). I still prefer allofmp3, but if I was not a Memphis Member, I would be using legalsound alot more (and as you say, the price is excellent).

Yes I agree, I am using mp3sale at the moment, but I have had a good look round on legalsounds and I think I will be using them next for the price, they are probably unbeatable at the moment. Like you I have only ever bought the 192 from allofmp3 before, and I have always found it OK, no problems. The strange thing is because I have no say in it, the last two albums I have bought from mp3sale, have been Rick Wakeman & Simply Red, and they have both been 320 bits at no extra cost. To be honest, I did not notice much of a difference if any?

Hi icprulz22.

Come on - get real!

Chronopay is a very well respected Dutch payment processor. Those bogus credit card blog posts were 100 % music industry made.

Don't you worry - no one will get to your money in an unlawful way, if you use Chronopay (or e-Centru for that matter - they are Moldovian).

I started using chronopay ~4 months ago, and I have never had any bogus payments from that card (but I use it for other stuff aswell). I feel reasonable confident with it.
Cheers,
Dave C
