I have to be honest, it did take me some time to get used to legalsounds user interface. But I've realised that is very nicely designed (which is why it won a design award).

Having all features scattered in a vertical linear format (like allofmp3), legalsounds has scattered in a control format manner. Which makes it nicer and more personal.

Another feature i like is the music request feature, assures you that legalsounds is taking that extra step to make sure that catalogue is as extensive as possible.

I have not quite gotten used to it yet (and I have been using it for a long time) but this is easily overshadowed by the pricing of the site.

Do you know if the bitrate they show on legalsounds is "variable" or constant? I'm worried about the quality, I guess it's just that AOMP3 and mp3sparks are light years ahead of this site, the previews are right on the page, the search provides results in a better format, and of course you can select your desired bitrate.

I found the site to be engaging, but it loaded and responded very sluggish on my machine...is it just me?

Until approximately one month ago all tracks on LegalSounds were in 192 kbps (constant). Since then a few variable bitrate have appeared but you're right AllOfMP3 is light years in front of all the competitors with their online encoding.

LegalSounds is by far the site with the longest loading time of all the many Russian and Ukrainian online stores. But there's nothing wrong with their prices - and their downloader has a download average of 900 kbit/sec. It's FAST.

The 'timeout' surprises me, since the transaction time was about 5 seconds; which seems to me to short for a timeout problem...
