We could probably make this festival an aom3-(re)union:
Marillion: They will make sure that at least Kalvin and Dave C will be there
Hazel O'Connor: Could almost be a deciding factor whether or not I will be there
Donovan: If this is Jason Donovan, I will be there, no question

Looks like a good fun line-up. Seen three of the head-line acts (Jethro Tull, Marillion & Fairport Convention) at open air concert (a long time ago ) and all were excellent . Unfortunately I'm going to be up on the bonnie banks of Loch lomond that weekend so I'll be a no show . I'm determined to go to one of these festivals this year & I'm off out looking at tents next week ,
Cheers,
Dave C
It's been a long time

Wish I could go as I LOVE Derbyshire, but am seeing an Andreas Scholl concert on 28th so screwed. Annoying, because Fairport Convention are amazing...remember playing my mum's LP of Liege and Lief over and over and finding the songs so sad.

Would love to go, but we have already made other plans that weekend
It`s been a long time since I last went to a festival (too long!)

I'd like a lot to be there, but I think that will be very difficult
But I'm sure the boys (Marillion) will release some bootleg with this show.

Hi,
I saw Jethro Tull in 2005 - absolutely fantastic. I know Ian Anderson has had problems with his voice, but you wouldn't know it. Still balances on one leg and they're still as good as they were in the seventies. I saw Eric Burdon and the (newest) Animals in a small jazz club last year. Eric's certainly put on the weight and his voice has matured, but he did all the major songs including Spill The Wine, and was well worth seeing. Don't know how these will translate as unplugged, but really worth the effort in electric mode.
Would absolutely love to see Donovan. Have been hanging out for years for him to tour Australia - hopefully the festival won't be a one off show for him and we'll see him down-under in due course.
As I'm in Australia I'll obviously be giving this a miss, but if I was anywhere in the UK I wouldn't miss it for quids.
Cheers,
