I don't know whether you'll be saddened or encouraged by this but ...

I've read these before.
Some of the things I read are hard to believe.

Don Henley of the Eagles was replaced by a drum machine.

A drum machine.
A musician is being replaced by a machine.
That's a lousy thing to happen.

Does anyone really take an announcement from a 5 year old child seriously?
Is there such a thing for a child to "opt out"?
Better not invest in any stock here,because a 5 year old child said he/she wasn't going to buy their albums.

Two from me are:-

Robyn - Robyn. This is classed as Pop / Club / Dance. Reading those style I would usually run a mile, but I got it a couple of months ago when was bored and I had read a good review and it is definitely in my top five albums released so far this year

Jorge Ben - África Brasil. Classed as: - Brazilian Pop / Latin Pop / Samba. The one genre of music which I generally dislike more that any other is Latin, but after reading so many top reviews of this album I though I would have to give it a try, and to my surprise it is excellent . I have since tried a few other 'Latin' albums and found them all to be total crap, so maybe this is the only good one,

An album I shouldn't like but do is the soundtrack to a soppy French film, Bilitis, by Francis Lai, who also wrote the music for A Man and a Woman. In fact, come to think of it, I also like A Man and a Woman!
I also like the song On Days Like These, by Matt Monro, (from The Italian Job), which is a million miles away from my usual style of music.
But who cares, eh? Music is music.

Francis Lai also wrote the soundtrack to "Love Story". The theme song from that movie is only possibly the most famous melodies of all time

And by coincadence my choice is Barry Gibbs + Barbara Streisands 1980 Album titled Guilty ...Unusal when considering my Fave Bands Are,..

It's a song that I too cannot stand, but Sarah Brightman's version is just about bearable, due in no small measure to Sarah's AMAZING voice.

same line of favorite bands here, so i feel a bit guilty when i listen to anything by Hall & Oates.
