It's a shame you don't live in the UK. We have a brilliant new TV series just started (a spin off from a similar, unique, earlier creative "called Life on Mars"). The new series is called "Ashes to Ashes" and features a police Psychologist who, after a shooting, is in a coma but an active part of her brain transports her to believe she has taken the role of a senior police officer in a 1980's London Metropolitan police force. The programme has some fun plots but the great element is it is liberally sprinkled with 1980's iconography, music & reference.

Shame you can't get it really

I wouldn't have been able to watch it in the 80's; that we can agree upon :

Originally coming from Birmingham and being of the appropriate age I well remember making a fool of myself at many a nightclub to "Kiss Me". New to alcohol and such a catchy tune was a fatal combination.
Although it is very very different, has anyone tried his more recent 'folksier' stuff (i.e. Stephen Duffy & The Lilac Time).
Cheers,

And on my hard drive I have a whopping fifteen (15 ) versions of the song

Yeah, I know it seems kind of excessive, especially when you compare it to for instance "Trapped" by Colonel Abrams, which I only have in 12 versions
