Forgotten 80`s - 02-12-2008, 05:26 PM

Can anyone help with my search to find tracks for download by some obscure but fondly remembered (by me at least) 80`s bands?

Namely:

River Detectives
The Lover Speaks
Fatal Charm
Pele
Wah!
Icicle Works (found a couple of theirs on compilations but that`s all)

Does anyone else remember them or is it just me?

I fear I`ve started off solaris on one of his 80`s nostalgia trips again

Any help much appreciated

Thanks,

Starcat

Stay tuned for Solaris. However, I fear it might take him a little while to respond, because, you see, he only has 4 posts until he reaches the big 5000, and he is pacing himself out to make sure that the monumental post comes at exactly the right time for him to get the most congratulatory posts from all of us mere mortals, who don't stand a prayer of reaching 5,000 (well, except maybe for me )

You`re probably right, Vik.

Hi Starcat

Of course I remember all of them

Actually "Images Of Fire" by Fatal Charm was one of my favourite tracks of 1986.

Another great song from that year - also by a band few probably remember was "Dangerous Dreams" by Jakko

I have both of those sitting tightly on my hard drive

Good to know I'm not the only one who looks at whos online.

I think whos online should be put into a frame in the web page, and refresh every couple of minutes.
That would save all the trouble of refreshing the page to find new posts.

"Who's Online" does get refreshed automatically. What would help is a customized report that does the same for "New Posts". I think that's what you meant.

I quite often go to "Who's Online", only to see that everyone else is also viewing "Who's Online". I then usually run away and hide (who's watching the watchmen),
Cheers,
