Any suggestions, folks?

I like funky music, if you haven't learned that about me yet - check out Felix da Housecat Nina Simone Sinnerman remix - isn't it great? Unfortunately I haven't come across 10 hours worth just yet. Also a "special friend" of mine promised me some movies, but I have a feeling I will have watched those way before my trip.

I am taking suggestions and trying ALL of them out - it's not like I am out of disk space anymore, right?
Hmm, funky music. Here's some I consider funky/similar mood to that:

Brazilian Girls - Don't Stop
Architecture in Helsinki - Do the whirlwind (this remix):
Do the Whirlwind (Halma's remix) by Architecture in Helsinki
Miss Kittin - Batbox
The Best of Cafe Del Mar
Cafe Zen
Classic Meets Cuba
Hotel Costes vol 3 & 9
Chungking:
MySpace.com - Chungking - Brighton, UK - Pop / Psychedelic / Soul - www.myspace.com/chungking20
Amon Tobin - Out From Out Where, Supermodified
Renaissance: The Classics part 2 (obviously check this out rather than buying straight off...)
Simply the Best Reggae
Ugress free EPs:
Ugress
Tropicalia - A Brazilian Revolution in Sound

Also, one of the best albums I've heard recently is Cicada (Self Titled). Funky and sexy
MySpace.com - Cicada - London, UK - Electronica / House - www.myspace.com/cicada1

If you are going to be driving round in a hot place, and Greece is going to be hot at this time of the year, this is what you need to be listening to: - allmusic ((( África Brasil > Overview )))

I don't believe she's going to miss anything now - neither on the flight over nor back again

You can't divorce your twin, silly.

And I HATE the 70s, the decade of extremely poor fashion, bad makeup and embarrassing hair, and music wasn't much better either.

Then french rap saved the world.

Oh I like Cicada!! Thank you - will check out all of these. Mel, you are all right, you know that?! It's Vik we have to work on, with her lack of appreciation of french rap and this odd love for the 70s!
